Customer Review: Ibiza Rhapsody 30 GB Wi-Fi/MP3 Player by Haier (Blk)
It is my my opinion that this mp3 player works OK as a player although it has some problems. For instance, when you switch it off and turn it back on later and you want to start the player where you were when you turned it off, you have to 1. Go Select Music 2. Hit enter 3. Scroll down to Now Playing at the bottom of the screen 4. Enter Again. With my Creative Zen M, I just turn it back on and it picks up where it left off.
The next thing, which I consider major, if, like I did, you are considering this mp3 player because it is wireless, don't. As a wireless player I find it to be next to worthless. It works OK on my home network, but anywhere else, you will need to know things like WEPs, passwords, etc. to connect to a local area wireless network outside of your home network. I thought it was going to work like my cell phone connects to the internet, but no. Plus if, like me, you are no fan of Rhapsody (lots of bugs, freezes up computers) then too bad, you have to use their program.
Customer Review: It's pretty good...
I've owned the Ibiza for a few months now, and I really do like it. The only things that I don't like is sometimes the interface feels to simple and there aren't that many advanced options offered, like custom EQ. The other problem I've had with it is that it seems to be hard to keep a wireless connection. I can be in the same room as my wireless router and the connection will drop quite easily. Taking the rubber protective case off helps with the connection, but it still seems like it should be better, and I shouldn't have to remove the rubber case. I really do like the product over all and I would recommend it. I just wish the wireless didnt drop so much.

Customer Review: Good Screwdriver
Well...The only good thing about this product is the screwdriver. Bluntly, it is effective and functional, unlike the rest of this product. Included are two incredibly useless plastic "tools" (if you can call them that), that are designed only to bend uselessly and cause frustrations. The "high-quality" battery caused me no end of suffering. After installation, the I-pod failed to start. I assumed it was my fault, but after several weeks I reinstalled the original battery and the I-pod worked flawlessly. examining the battery, I found inferior sweat-shop sodering on a inferior chinese rip-off battery. Opinion: stay away from this product. Spend a little extra and get a quality replacement. Caveat Emptor!
Customer Review: inexpensive, but the prying tools could be better
Installation was no problem once I got the case open. I had to carefully crack it with an eyeglass screwdriver, since the included prying tools are flimsy. 2 are included, but 2 mediocre tools aren't equal to 1 good one. After I got a wide enough crack, the tools safely pried the case apart. Even with the eyeglass screwdriver, there's no damage to the exterior.
The torx screwdriver worked well. The instructions are good, and it took about 1/2 hour to complete the installation. After doing it once, I think that I could change another battery in 10 minutes.
I'm getting about 15 hours of playing time with the new battery (50% more than the original), and the price was right.

It's also ready for all of the latest media formats MP3, WMA and AAC music files. Plus, with Full Speed connection, you have access to iPod's music content with remarkable speed.
Customer Review: Great Unit. Lives up to Alpine's Reputation
This is the fourth Alpine head unit I have purchased; it's also the best. The IMPRINT sound system offfers crisp, clean sound. The amount of features is more than enough for just about anyone. Purchasing the hi-speed ipod connection cable is a must (Alpine KCE-422i). The interface is easy to use and Alpine's new blue display color (it can be changed to red or green) is great, as is the remote control unit. Definitely a great stereo!
Customer Review: wow
The cda-9887 is diffidently an audiophile deck; it is one of the best head units I have ever used. the only reasons I have given it a 4 star review are, the I pod control is just ok it will not allow you to return to the play list once you have selected a song without starting over. And the menu requires you to press too many buttons, alpine could have streamlined this. Although once you get the hang of it its no big deal. Also get the imprint it is the reason to buy this deck. If you use a Mac computer you will have to use a pc laptop from a friend (alpine + Mac = no dice) but once you set it up you will be amazed. The improvement is dramatic.

The Digital Wireless Radio Transmitter wirelessly transmits music from your iPhone or MP3 player to your car stereo. The digital tuner locks digitally into the clearest available radio station. Wide choice of channels allows you to tune your car stereo to the clearest FM frequency, and enjoy your music with full stereo sound and convenience. please note that this charger function is not compatible with iPhone 3G
Customer Review: You don't even get what you pay for
At first the 8 in 1 FM Transmitter seems like the greatest purchase you've ever made. You've got this adjustable, padded iPod holder, shiny blue light-up display, and super sweet remote. It seems really hi-tech and useful. Then you plug in your iPod and try actually listening to your music. Big mistake.
This product's novelty will wear off really fast when you start listening to your music and realize the quality is borderline unbearable. I highly, highly recommend against purchasing this product if you want clear, quality reception when listening to your iPod. The Monster iCarPlay is a much better product at a slightly cheaper price. Sure, it won't hold your iPhone or give you a fancy remote to show off to your friends, but the quality difference is distinct and important. The 8-in-1 sounds worse than a bad radio station, no matter what station you put it on. The iCarPlay had multiple stations that sounded crystal clear- stations that when chosen on the 8-in-1 sounded like complete garbage.
I wasted $50 on this product, and was so convinced by it's shiny, sleek looks that it was a quality item, I chucked the packaging and can't return it now. Don't make my mistake.

Customer Review: so far so good
I just got my Sony 8GB Walkman yesterday, and I have to say I like it very much.
Pros:
1) Sound Quality
2) Looks
3) After the initial charge, it's Plug and Play
4) Really easy to Sync with Windows Media Player 11 - I didn't have to install anything to sync, it was already on my computer. I'm glad because I've read several reviews where people complained about installing and uninstalling software the player came with, just because it didn't work.
Cons:
1) I don't like the headphones too much, they are a little too big, but that's not a huge problem as I can always replace it.
2) I also haven't figure out how to get the battery display working. If someone can give me a hint I'd appreciate it.
3) I would also like more if there was some relevant information displayed on the player during the initial charge. It didn't say if it's charging, and how much more it has to charge, and it didn't say that it's over, after 3.5 hours of charging. Maybe I had a problem because I can't get the battery level to display. How do I do this?
Customer Review: Now it is my favorite player
I have been fed up with the second generation of iPOD Video and Kenwood HD30GB9 (an expensive Japanese player which is not sold in the US) before this one came into my eyes. Sony have made lots of excellent players in the past, and the A series video players are the best they provide right now. The 8G/16G flash memory within such slim and delicate artwork is enough to keep all the collection I have, given that I'm a pure audiophile using this player only for music. The software is very easy to use and fully compatible with PC (Sure, because it's Windows Media Player), which contains one most important function missing in iTunes - library update. With regard to sound quality, neither of my previous players is a match in replaying Jpop. The vivid vocal, real and tight bass, and wide headroom make a superb listening experience every day. Now it is my favorite player that I would love to take with me all day long.

Customer Review: AAA batteries are too small
I bought this to replace an earlier iRiver iFP-890, that I really liked, and I looked for a replacement only because the 890 was stolen. As mentioned in another review, I can confirm that the AAA batteries don't last nearly as long as the AA batteries in my earlier iRiver, so you need to be sure to carry several rechargeables with you, and the recharger for long trips. As well, my experience seems to support that mentioned in the "mixed bag" review, to get the correct battery display you need to say alkaline when you mean rechargeable.
Customer Review: Good sound, crappy controls
EQ settings are awesome. Sound quality is great.
But the little knob for controlling the unit is horrible. Pressing the knob is the equivalent as typing the enter/return key on your keyboard. Don't do it too hard, though, because the knob gets lodged into the unit, making it impossible to adjust the volume. When I say "lightly" use this button, its an understatement.
The prism screen looks awesome. Battery life... is ok I guess. You can record an FM station for about 3 hours before the battery is dead.
You also can set whether you have a rechargable battery or alkaline installed. If you set rechargeable, the unit will die quicker. I have no idea why. I can get maybe an hour out of recording before the unit turns off. I measure my battery's life in my charger, and it has PLENTY of juice left. So needless to say, if you are going to use rechargeables, just leave it on the alkaline setting. Seems like a useless feature.

Customer Review: Nice silicone skin case
I bought this case as a backup for my black silicone case. I like the white as the lint and dust do not show up on this as it does on the black case. It has slightly raised ridges on the sides for gripping that are a little nicer than the ones on the black case. It fits like a glove, but you still have use of all the function buttons. While it is semi-transparent, it is white, not clear. But for this price, you cannot go wrong. Fast shipping.

Customer Review: No Artist Tags and No AC Power Supply!
I bought this for several reasons, one of which is that the description here at Amazon says in two different places that it comes with an AC power supply. It does not! I bought it for a friend of mine who does not have a computer so he will not be able to charge it once I load it with music thanks to the description being wrong. I've also spent many hours now trying to get MP3's to show up with the correct tags. It never shows the artist tag. Never! It's always unknown. The tags show up in Windows Media Player 11, iTunes and Foobar 2000, they also show up correctly on both my iPods and the crappy old Insignia NS-1A10f MP3 Player I have here. My friend's birthday is Sunday and now I have nothing to give him, needless to say I will be returning this, unless I can miraculously get it to work, which is doubtful.
Customer Review: Love this product
I love this product. It has a great screen and is easy to use. A great value!!
